Farmer Connie is one of the original owners of Hunter Farms. She has worked in many capacities building Hunter Farms since 1971 but is best known at the Pumpkin Patch as Farmer Connie the seed planting teacher. She has taught thousands of students over the years about the lifecycle of a seed while assisting them in her class. She has also shown off our Critter Corral residents. At the beginning of the Patch and for many years, she was the master gardener and caretaker of all the flower gardens. We saw it fitting to name our new double decker 120’ play yard after her. This two-story play yard is filled with spaces to climb, crawl and slide while using one’s creativity and imagination for play. The play yard is recommended for our visitors 54” tall and under with adult supervision. Enjoy resting at one of our park benches as your young visitors explore Critter Country. We have relocated our Hay Maze on the south side of Critter Country and have also built in musical instruments to further enjoy creative movement. We hope our young critters and their families enjoy this space together.
